The Kentish Council website is text to speech enabled to assist people with disabilities, visual impairments, or low literacy andreading skills.
Browsealoud is a computer program that converts text to speech as the cursor automatically moves over selected text. It is only active on this and other Browsealoud activated sites, and it also reads PDF documents if you have Adobe version 8 or higher.
We are running Browsealoud as a 1 year trial to be reviewed in August 2010.
