COVID-19

Thanks to the efforts of Tasmanians to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases, restrictions continue to ease and Tasmania's Roadmap to Recovery has been brought forward.  To keep informed of the latest easing of restrictions, go to https://www.coronavirus.tas.gov.au/families-community/roadmap-to-recovery Please be mindful that just because a restriction is eased, if a business or venue operator can't yet meet the safety and hygiene requirements, they may be a little slower with reopening.

Worksafe plans that comply with minimum COVID-19 safety standards are now compulsory.  To help you through this, details are available at https://www.coronavirus.tas.gov.au/business-and-employees/covid-19-safe-workplaces-framework#toolbox Templates are also available at https://www.worksafe.tas.gov.au/topics/Health-and-Safety/safety-alerts/coronavirus/covid-safe-workplaces-framework with the Small Business Templates being adaptable for community groups and organisations that have their own facilities.  If you hire another organisation's facility, you may be required to add to their plan for your specific requirements.

Most importantly, to maintain this positive momentum of Tasmania's road to recovery, it is important that the following rules are followed until a vaccine is available -

AND download the COVID-19 Safe App to your smartphone - search for "COVIDSafe app" in the Apple App Store or Google Play - so if someone that tests positive comes in to contact with you (or vice versa), health officials can quickly trace and contact relevant people to quickly contain a potential outbreak.
