Business Recovery Assistance Grants

The Business Recovery Assistance Grants support eligible local businesses/organisations to rapidly transition to alternate models of commerce, outreach and engagement, including digital solutions and/or support circular economy initiatives from simple re-use to repair, re-make and revalue ideas.

Event Assistance Grants

The Event Assistance Grants support cultural, community and sporting groups to bring to fruition new event ideas that will attract 100 people (subject to health advice) and/or support existing events for unrecovered expenses associated with events cancelled prior to 16 March 2020 and scheduled between 16 March to 30 September 2020.

LARGE COMMUNITY GRANTS - $501 - $2,500

Clubs and organisations are invited to make an application to Council for financial assistance under Council’s 2020/21 Community Grant Scheme.  All clubs/organisations located in the Kentish Municipality or who have substantial membership from Kentish and who offer benefits to the people of Kentish are eligible to apply.  All applications submitted must have accompanying club/organisation financials and quotes.   Applications open 1 July 2020 and will close 31 July 2020.

PLEASE NOTE that late applications may not receive consideration. Any club or organisation that has received a community grant in the last two financial years must return the acquittal/evaluation form before the application for 2020/21 can be considered.

SMALL COMMUNITY GRANTS - $1 - $500

Clubs, organisations and individuals are invited to make an application to Council for financial assistance up to $500.  Application is in the form of a letter (on organisation letterhead where appropriate) and may be submitted at any time of the year.
