Kerbside Collection

Council provides a fortnightly kerbside recycling service on a Friday. Collection dates can be found here.

Have your recycling wheelie bin (yellow lid) out by 6.00 am on collection day. Face the wheels of the bin away from the kerb.

What can I recycle ? 

Recycling Symbols

  • Plastics with the following codes
  • Newspapers/magazines/junk mail/cardboard/office papers
  • Glass
  • Milk and Juice cartons
  • Steel and aluminium cans (empty aerosol cans)

Please rinse all containers and remove all lids.  Do not bundle paper and cardboard.

What I must not recycle

  • Plastic bags
  • Window glass or mirrors
  • Batteries
  • Light globes
  • Polystyrene foam
  • Crockery
  • Household rubbish
  • Food items
  • Household chemicals or oils
  • Nappies

Please note:  Do not put waste materials in your recycle bin.  Trucks have close-circuit cameras to monitor bin loads as they are emptied.  Penalties may apply for incorrect use.
