Dog owners are advised to become familiar with 'off leash exercise area' boundaries and 'prohibited areas'. To register a dog with Kentish Council please complete Dog Registration Form 2019-2020, print and make your payment at Service Tasmania Shop (Sheffield, Devonport, Ulverstone, Burnie or Deloraine) or at Kentish Council, 69 High Street, Sheffield.

Notice is hereby given that dog registration fees have been fixed by the Kentish Council for the financial year 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020 in respect of all dogs over the age of six months at the following rates:

As defined in the Dog Control Act 2000 – ‘A person, without a kennel licence, must not keep or allow to be kept on any premises more than two (2) dogs over the age of six (6) months; or more than four (4) working dogs over the age of six (6) months'
