Mature Age Scholarship
Council is offering a scholarship of $1,800.00 to a mature age student attending an approved educational institution in 2024. This scholarship is to assist with expenses for students associated with undertaking their studies or reskilling. The student must:
- Be enrolled or accepted for enrolment for full-time or part-time study at either University, TAFE, apprenticeship, heavy vehicle training, or another approved education facility in 2024.
- Have resided in the Kentish Municipality for at least the last two years.
- Be over the age of 35 as of 1st January 2024; and
- Be unemployed, work part-time, or demonstrate how the scholarship would assist in retaining or finding ongoing employment.

The closing date for applications is 4th December 2023.
Youth Scholarship
Council is offering a scholarship of $1,800.00 to a university student or a student attending an approved education facility in 2024. The scholarship is to help with expenses associated with relocating from Kentish. The student must:
- Be enrolled or accepted for enrolment for full-time study at either University, TAFE or an approved education facility in 2024.
- Have been a Kentish resident for the last two years of their secondary studies.
- Intend or be living away from home as a result of their studies; and
- Be under the age of 25 as of the 1st January 2024.
