Weed Management

Kentish Council, in conjunction with other organisations, has identified seven weeds of municipal significance for residents and ratepayers to be aware of in managing their own property.  These weeds are listed below and residents can contact Council regarding recommended control methods.

There are also weeds of State significance and Weeds of National significance, such as Gorse, Blackberry's and Willows.  Further information on these weeds may be obtained from the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment.
