The Tasmanian Planning Commission has granted approval to an amendment to the Kentish Interim Planning Scheme 2013.

LAND USE PLANNNG AND APPROVALS ACT 1993 (former)
At its meeting held on 16 July 2019, Council resolved to initiate and certify Amendment 01/19 to the Kentish Interim Planning Scheme 2013 and place it on public exhibition for a period of 28 days. Amendment 01/19 seeks to incorporate the bushfire prone area overlay maps, prepared by Tasmania Fire Services, into the planning scheme.
