Kentish Events Strategy
Events are an important part of the Kentish economy, generating significant economic activity from the many people who visit to attend events held each year.
Recognising this, in consultation with the community Council has developed an Events Strategy which it formally adopted at its meeting on 18 October 2016.
The aim of the Events Strategy is to create a framework for the development of new events and the expansion of existing events within the Kentish municipality. It incorporates all the individual event ideas and illustrates the potential benefits to the region across economic, social, tourism and marketing indicators.
