Regarding WHAT HAPPENS to these chemicals once collected…..
The material collected is handled and transported under the supervision of a specialist chemist and anything that has potential for energy recovery will be recycled into fuel for industrial use (approx. 50%). Material that is unable to be converted/neutralised/stabilised/treated or is considered toxic is incinerated at approved facilities, specifically designed to prevent emissions to the environment.
