Council is accepting retrospective pension remission claims for the current financial year (22-23) which are then reviewed by the State Revenue Office for eligibility.
Additionally, any claims submitted prior to 1 July 2023 will appear on the rate notice for the 2023-24 financial year therefore Council encourages eligible people to submit a pension remission claim if they meet the criteria.
You must be eligible as at 1 July and this claim can only be made once per financial year and for the property that you occupy as at 1 July.
